This newsletter had to be rewritten because we got behind getting information out to you. Things have been changing daily. As a result, we do not know what to expect. We do know the government still wants our property without paying us for it.

This summer, anytime the wind swings to the South sandbars that were underwater last year are now exposed out a couple blocks from the shoreline. A change in this rather dry pattern is not on the horizon. More beaches are going to be exposed to the sun.

The nitrogen enriched water sent to us from our industrial and agricultural

businesses will encourage weeds to grow in abundance once again. The US Army Corps of Engineers will think it is land under their jurisdiction and the DNR, or whatever they are called at this time will think it is time to grow weeds so we can generate muck at our State Park and private beaches.
