A busy day on the Muskegon River yesterday as walleye egg collection efforts were underway, and plenty of visitors stopped by to watch the action.

Over 2.4 million walleye were stocked in 2024 at 61 inland lakes and rivers and Lake Michigan. That's a lot of future catches!
