David Almeter

Dave is one of the founding Board members of Save our Shoreline.  As a veteran, he served in the Honor Guard in Washington D.C. under President Eisenhower.  He is retired from Verizon, formerly known as New York Telephone, where was the Plant Maintenance Supervisor.   He is a founding member of the Inland Seas Education Association, where he taught for 8 years on the School Ship.  Dave and his wife, Donna, currently own and operate the Cherry Cove Beach Resort on Suttons Bay.
